AoC Labs began inside Art of Comfort, a heating and air conditioning company that has served Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley since 2012. Running a busy local shop showed us how much of the day goes to work that isn’t the craft, and how much better the business gets when good systems take that work on.
Today we build those systems for a growing family of companies, and we partner with owners who want their business to keep its name and its character while gaining the tools of a much larger organization.

Our companies keep their names, their leaders, and their roots. Reputation is earned one home at a time, and we protect it.
The people are the product
Customers remember the technician who showed up on time and explained the problem honestly. We invest in training, tools, and careers for the people in the field.
Build, don't just buy
We write our own software and put it to work inside our own companies. When something in the field slows people down, we fix it ourselves.

Diagnose before recommending. Explain the options. Do the work right. Technology should make those standards easier to keep, never easier to skip.

We plan to hold our companies for decades, which lets us make the patient investments that a quick flip never would.
